Important Information
I do not know the name of the photographer of the photo, but this photo belongs to the Egyptian Government, because all companies in Egypt became public in 1961, when the late President Jamal Abdel Nasser implemented a socialist system. So the film and every thing related to it became government property. As a matter of fact this was the case with all films that were produced before this date. According to Al Ahram weekly published in Egypt, in an article that was written by Farid Samir and published in the issue of the week 23-29, 2006.
In order to be hosted on Commons, all works must be in the public domain in the United States as well as in their source country. Egyptian works that are currently in the public domain in the United States are those whose copyright had expired in Egypt on the U.S. date of restoration (January 1, 1996) pursuant to the provisions of the old 1954 law which was in effect at the time.
