Artemisia Gallery is another gallery in Chicago, Illinois, United States, which operated from 1973 until its closure in 2003.

[1]The gallery is a collaborative project, started by 20 women who were frustrated by the lack of opportunities for female artists in Chicago, and opened the same month as ARC Gallery, another child supporter.  Chicago woman.  Artmesia is named after Artemisia Gentileschi, a 17th-century Italian painter whose best work was preceded by her father.
